Donald L. Jameson -- Resumé |
As president of Agrimanagement, and past president of the National
Alliance of Independent Crop Consultants, Don Jameson is in touch with
the latest research on crop management practices and new developments
in production techniques.As an agronomic consultant to Central Washington farmers and orchardists since 1976, Don has broad experience in the management of irrigated crops. His emphasis has been in soil fertility management, plant nutrition analysis, and irrigation scheduling. His experience includes work in potatoes, hops, vineyards, corn, orchards and an assortment of other permanent and rotational field crops throughout the Yakima Valley and Central Washington. Don received B.S. degrees in Agronomy and in Biological and Physical Science Education from Kansas State University. He holds a Washington & Oregon State Pest Consultant License and is Certified as an Agronomist by the Registry of Certified Professionals in Agronomy, Crops and Soils and by the NAICC as a CPCC-I. |

Scott Stephen -- Resumé |
Scott Stephen was born and raised on an apple orchard in the upper Yakima
Valley. His family was involved in the apple industry and has
a commercial nursery. In 1991 he joined Agrimanagement as a
summer sampler. During his first four summers at
Agrimanagement he worked as a pest management scout in many crops
including, mint, asparagus, alfalfa seed, and hops.In 1996, Scott graduated from Washington State University with a B.S. in Soil Science. Over the past 10 years he has has gained experience in irrigation monitoring and sampling, fertility sampling, petiole sampling, nutrient management, and writes many associated recommendations. He holds a Washington State Commercial Consultant license and holds certification as a Certified Crop Consultant Advisor. He currently works with rotational and permanent crops in Central Washington. In 2003 he was elected to the Agrimanagement Board of Directors. |

David W. Marshall -- Resumé |
Dave Marshall is an economist
specializing in agricultural and the related food industries of Central
Washington and is familiar with the farm fields and orchards of the
area. He currently works on financial planning and project modeling for
area agricultural businesses.He received a B.S. in Communications in 1986, from Washington State University. After three years of employment with Agrimanagement he returned to Washington State University and received a Masters degree in Agricultural Economics in 1992. Since returning to Agrimanagement in the fall of 1992 he has taken the role of business manager, director of various research and development projects, and information systems manager. Dave has been the author and co-author of many published articles relating to trends and problems in Washington State agriculture and the apple industry. His graduate thesis was entitled: "A Profitability Analysis of Fuji Apples Grown on a Double Row V-Trellis High Density System in Central Washington." Dave has experience in long range financial planning, strategic planning, investment analysis, market studies, design and maintenance of information system for agriculture, and computerized mapping. |

Lisa Brain |
Lisa Brain is an entomologist who practices IPM (integrated pest management) tactics in orchard and vineyard settings to reduce the amount of chemical control for the management of insect pests. She is experienced in monitoring and scouting techniques for a variety of insect pests and plant diseases, which occur in orchards and vineyards. Her work experience includes orchards in the Greater Wenatchee Valley along with orchards and vineyards in the lower Yakima Valley.Lisa Brain was born and raised on an apple orchard in the Wenatchee Valley. Her father managed orchards and she later worked for him while obtaining a 2-yr degree in Tree Fruit Production Management from Wenatchee Valley College. While at Wenatchee Valley College, Lisa became a Certified IPM Technician. She then continued her education in the field of entomology at the University of Idaho, where she received her B.S. in Entomology in 2004. Lisa came to work at Agrimanagement in the spring of 2006, where she worked as a scout in a variety of crops with the largest acreage in wine grapes. Lisa helps manage and operate the company’s in-house laboratory. She holds a Washington State Commercial Consultant license. |

Bruce Hanson |
Since 1974, Bruce Hanson has served Agrimanagement growers in all
areas of field work. He currently works in many different
crops throughout Central Washington, from Mattawa and Othello to
Prosser and Yakima.He received a B.S. in Entomology from Washington State University in 1972. Bruce has first hand experience in the agricultural production techniques used for most of the area crops. He has experience in soil fertility sampling techniques for all central Washington crops and irrigation systems. Bruce has experience in soil fertility sampling, plant tissue sampling and pest management scouting. He currently works in the following crops: alfalfa seed, asparagus, corn, hops, mint, potatoes, tree fruits, and wheat. |
